A happy 130th birthday to the Iowa State Daily! To celebrate the milestone, here is the complete first issue of the publication, dated 7 August 1890. Included are scans of all eight pages and the text to every story.
1969: Celebrating the moon landing
The front page of the Iowa State Daily from 24 July 1969. The Daily only published on Thursdays during the summer, so coverage of the Apollo 11 moon landing was three days after the event. The centerpiece story was a listing of the ISU alumni who were involved in the space race.
