1969: Parks Library adds a computer

In summer 1969, the library added a computer, beginning the automation of its book work.

The front page of the Iowa State Daily from 24 July 1969. The Daily only published on Thursdays during the summer, so coverage of the Apollo 11 moon landing was three days after the event. The centerpiece story was a listing of the ISU alumni who were involved in the space race.
