Issue: Fall 1903 (exact date unknown)

One of the first illustrations to appear in the Iowa State Daily – then The I.S.C. Student – comes on the heels of a good football team. The team had had a “Cyclone” for about eight years at this time. I can’t help but see a little Tornado Cy in the illustration. However, Cy wouldn’t make his debut for another 51 years, and it’d be another 92 years before Tornado Cy was released.
