Kicking off a new term in spring 1914 was this illustration about students promising to put their studies first. (Some things never change.) This was also the first of numerous illustrations by Mr. Collins, class of 1916, for The ISC Student / Iowa State Student. They’d cover a variety of topics such as college life and local events and even a 13-piece series in spring 1916. Nearly all of them would run on page one.
