The Story County Fair took place in the fall and the celebration was coming to the Iowa State campus in 1908 with an event at the YWCA space in Margaret Hall, a women’s dormitory that stood where LeBaron Hall is today, on Halloween day. From the illustration by student George Wagner, the 7 p.m. event cost a quarter and featured various events and pie, keeping in the fall spirit and a little bit of the Halloween spirit.
